Maybe Next Year (disgruntled)

I annoy myself when I have to take something off my "annual resolutions" list because I just cannot possibly squeeze it in for whatever reason.

This year I really wanted to start up an etsy web store to sell some of my crafted stuff (aka: things I made (or plan to make) to clean out some of the left-over scraps or materials I bought long ago and haven't made ANYTHING with yet that are still cluttering up my studio area)--the web store was also a means to get my feet wet with having my own business before I cut the 9-5 umbilical cord as soon as I got my school loans paid off.

But things have been so crazy, and I'm SWAMPED with various projects at home that I have yet to address in addition to the wall repairs I've added to my plate with the new apartment. The worst of it is the mess that's everywhere--piles of projects pieces that have no home yet or are waiting for me to finish something with the walls before I can put it all where it needs to go . . .which is NOT on the floor in a box. I HATE the mess that I've learned to ignore because I can't get to it all--I don't like living like this.

I want to do everything myself, but unfortunately I haven't quite got down this "being in 12 places at once" thing. So, I've got to drop the etsy thing for a little while to keep from spreading myself too thin and look into hiring a little bit of help on some of these projects. Who knows, maybe now that I'm beyond all the spring-flings I might actually be able to put the etsy store back on the docket around fall, but I HAVE to get the bedroom taken care of first! I got this apartment because of the wood floors . . . it would be awesome to actually SEE them sometime!
