Heh. A Christmas Gift Card Tale.

So last weekend I was cleaning up the desk (in actuality, The Desk is my art desk, but it has to double as my computer desk and (since the move and subsequent lack of proper storage space I have yet to remedy) catch-all location for all the random magazines/articles/project ideas/notes/statements/cards/etc that have nowhere else to go until I make the time to deal with them).

Back to what I was saying . . . so, last weekend I'm cleaning up the desk (read as: shoving all the random stuff into a box so it looks organized) and I find a CostCo gift card I got last year as part of a xmas gift from my brother and sister-in-law. Forgot all about it.

And in light of a previous post in which I said I could not recall a single item I purchased with a gift card, I'd like to amend that by saying Thank You to B & E for the following xmas gift items (very tongue-in-cheek, mind you, but seriously, this was all I could think of to buy that I needed without going down some dark path involving 5 lbs of chocolate chip cookie dough and/or a 14" pumpkin pie):

1.3 gals of White House distilled white vinegar (support local industry!!!)
12 lbs of Arm & Hammer baking soda

[Note for the above--I needed to clean out a stuck drain and used up the little bit of stuff I had at home--for all I may joke about using Drain-O or something with bleach, I can't use that stuff because they irritate my sinuses and throat. Plus, now I can make 14000 cookies if I wanted to.]

40 lbs of Fresh Step scoopable kitty litter

AND, the coup de gras: 7 lbs of Jelly Belly's!!!!! (I LOVE Jelly Belly's!!!)
