Finally, RESPITE!!!

Oh, I am sooooooo incredibly glad that things are back to 'normal busy' at work again. The massive crunch for a Nov 17th audit came around and we survived an entire week of checks and cross-checks and we all did really well. A major hurdle behind us now, and it's back to the regular reporting grind we have this time of year now that field work is over and the change of season pulls us indoors.

Sooooo glad. I was feeling so much better as soon as the 17th hit, the funk and stress able to be put behind me and whatever had been left on the back-burners for a while brought back into focus. Down time is necessary.

Christmas gift projects are now up to a count of 5 (FIVE, I tell you!!! And it's still November!!) and I've been able to get back to the wallpaper again and have normal work hours . . . I was apparently more stressed than even I realized because I found myself thinking about heading over to mom's for Thanksgiving and actually looking forward to it.

AND. It snowed. SNOWED!!! Instant pep for the season.

(sigh) Thank god for getting back to normal.
