My (rented) Old House. . . er, Apartment

Aha! For those of you who are not aware, I rented a groovy little apartment last summer when I had to leave my last place. It's smaller, I have no yard for Annie to play in, and the kitchen is little more than what most college dorms provide . . . yet, the apartment itself has the best bedroom in town (I get church chimes on the weekends AND hardwood floors AND a view!) and the house is this massive conglomeration of wood, brick, and stained glass. It's totally awesome!! Go here and check it out---apartment 4 photos--and I am not responsible for the weird decorating of the previous tenant:

This place is going to seriously (and historically) rock when I'm done with it, room by room . . .

Over the next several months/years/whatever I'll be documenting my work to fix the place up a bit, starting with the biggest and most difficult room (of course): my bedroom/studio. I've already started some work and will post those photos here as soon as I figure out this photo-stitch function on my new camera (woo!).

Now, I know what you're saying, Those Who Know Me. "But Beth, you're renting! Why bother with the time and expense of fixing up a place you don't own? You'll get NO return on your investment!" Three words, oh doubters and gloating home-owners: I live here. Okay, four: Duh!

Stay tuned (same bat channel) for updates to the apartment!!
