Gettin' Culturfied

Went to DC last Friday to see Little Shop of Horrors at the Ford's Theatre with my friend Lisa--we saw the ad while we there for our trapeze class months ago.  First time I've been to that theater, LOVED the show!

Since we were both headed there from where-ever we were that afternoon we decided to grab some dinner at Matchbox Pizza--highly recommended by a friend of mine at work.  She said to try the spicy pizza ("Fire and Smoke") if we were brave (we were not) because it was VERY spicy, but VERY tasty.  There were too many things to choose from--we have to go back for more!  Service was fantastic, friendly, and apparenlty used to folks flying in for a bite moments before they have to leave for a show.

Ordered the following and recommend you try this place if ever you are in DC down around Chinatown or the Smithsonian American Art Museum:

Q Special (pizza)
Apple/Pear salad
Fresh Fruit Pizza
any of their sorbets--we got the kiwi--so creamy, so rich you forget its a sorbet!
Pamatea (drink)
Pear Tree (drink)
French Gimlet (drink)
