(I hear you gasp, and I know, I was surprised to discover it, too!! ME, not have perfect skin?! Incomprehensible on someone who is so obviously perfect in every other respect, right?)
It's true. My name is Beth, and I have "problem skin." Most folks would say it's "sensitive" thanks to the English genes . . . bellicose and contrary would be more like. It's particular about some things, laughs in the face of danger, refuses to tan to spite me, and changes it's mind daily about the rest as it goes. Who knows--I've got French, Scottish, Native American, and German in there, too.
So, it goes without saying that I am a long-time Ivory girl. Ivory, however, does not help battle the clogged pores and summer (ew, don't make me say it!) "backne" of still-somewhat-young-skin, even with a loofah or other scrubby thing.
Enter Witch Hazel--a natural astringent used to clean out pores and shrink them so you look all nice and young and fresh-faced. I get bored in about 0.2 seconds using this as an after-bath splash, though (hello, I have stuff to do, like pick out an eyeliner but forget to comb my hair). But then I found THISSSS . . .

Awesome stuff! Smells good, too! My face loves it, my back loves it, my skin in general loves it (so far). Found it in the organic bath/body products at Martin's grocery about a month ago. Go, buy!!
Here's a link to the company webpage with their other stuff. (The pine tar soap is kinda weird--it smells like smoked meat to me, but I hear it works just fine. lol!)
