My niece is having a playdate by invitation only . . . not unlike what one would do for a birthday party. She had a handful of friends at school (she's in 1/2 day but stays on premisis for the entire school day) both in the morning and afternoon class that she wanted to invite. She wasn't able to give out her invitations to her friends in the class session she isn't in because it's school policy that no invitations can be given out unless the entire class is invited.
WTF?? When did THIS happen??
Don't even get me started about equal treatment in education . . . this is clearly the part where the policy makers should have been forced to stay back a year or two so they could actually LEARN something in the context of educating the next generation . . . like how life isn't fair and how to cope with not having everything handed to you because you exist. Interds.
