I give up. Officially I have done nothing today (as far as work is concerned) . . . and since it's about 3:30pm why bother trying now? I'll just have to put in some extra time and effort the rest of the week to make it up.
My desk looks like that guy Newman's from the Jurassic Park movie--I forget his character name in the movie--scads of paper everywhere, coffee mugs and half-empty drink bottles. (The candy wrappers are actually IN the trash can, though.)
Time to fake it . . . if I organize and clean up a bit, it'll LOOK like I've done something productive today. . .
