I miss my Mavica camera--it suffered corrosive heart failure a few years ago and I've been using this neat little Canon point and shoot for the last year, but I have to figure out the ISO and other settings I never had to pay attention to before with the Mavica. . . that camera couldn't take a bad shot, no matter what I did.
I don't like my pictures anymore. They don't look right, the lighting is off--either too bright or too dim--or the images are fuzzy and/or grainy. I need to take a class or something, get some photo-editing software, maybe read some books. Mostly, I guess I just need to practice taking shots with it more often. ModGirl and Jim have some awesome photos, so even though I don't have a spiffy SLR camera, I'm studying their photos as examples for composition. Maybe I'll get better.
I hope so--I'm sick of crap photos. I can totally do better, I just need to figure out how . . .
