Indoor Safari--The Elusive Annie Kat Discovered!

Journal entry November 10, 2008:

Three weeks into the wilderness of Apartment 4 and our trek across the bedroom has so far been a failure; no sighting of the elusive Annie Kat has been made. Our group has been trailed by a distant cousin, Toby Kat, who is a more guerrilous and smelly beast--perhaps his obnoxious howls alert Annie Kat to our group and drive her away.

At last! Nearly at the end of the bedroom reaches we stumbled into Potted Plant territory--although our journey thus far had proven unsuccessful we know that Annie Kat sometimes prefers the sheltered isolation of the Potted Plant jungle with it's warm windows and high views. And there! In the shadows of the tropical plants we catch our first glimpse of Annie Kat as she dozes quietly on a rug-draped trunk.

Shhh! Look at that! She's gooaaa-jus! Our mission is a success and the elusive Annie Kat discovered to be alive and well in the wilderness of Apartment 4!
