How I Spent My Christmas Vacation

As previously mentioned, we had our family Christmas the Sunday before the 25th, and work would be closed up for three days (the 24th - 26th), giving me some 5 days free and clear with no holiday obligations to do anything . . . and boy, did I have a list of stuff I wanted to do in those 5 days! Even wrote it down on the fridge's to-do memo pad, and here, reprinted expressly for your consideration and enjoyment of tedium at large:

(implied 'scraping bedroom wallpaper' each day)

Wed:
1. Finish jewelry (4 pcs)
2. Wash 1/2 dishes

Thurs:
1. Laundry
2. Wash 1/2 dishes

Fri:
1. Cocoa mix [literally, make the cocoa mix--it's for a gift getting sent out . . . soon]
2. Pack/ship gifts
3. Clean off kitchen table [currently the holding place for the cocoa mix stuffs and sundry crap]

Sat:
1. Piles in LR [that is, clean up the stacks of paper crap and books on every level surface]
2. Books to Library [donations]
3. Clean Toby's dish and eating area

Sun:
1. Clean bathroom
2. Paint cookies? [ornamental cookies from last xmas that weren't gifted since they had yet to be "iced"]

AND here's what I accomplished:
