So things have slowed down lately because of time constraints . . . doesn't mean I haven't been thinking about adding stuff to the blog. 1) Had 4 events to go to last Thurs - Sun. 2) Did not have a chance to offload photos untiil last night. 3) Working extra hours this week b/c of deadlines and looming vacation.
(Woooo!!! VACATION!!!)
Today I have photos, photos, photos, and a few new posts to put up that I haven't had time to do before now . . . and thought I wouldn't have time for until I got back from DW.
To sum up this week's events that haven't gotten their own posts:
Thursday: Symponic Orchestra at Wolf Trap (Beethoven's stuff). Forgot to take the camera, had a great time, ate excellent Thai chicken curry for dinner, got miffed at a very rude concession stand attendant, got sick from a handful of popcorn, flipped off a couple rude drivers who thought it would be kosher to drive across the parking lot and cut in front of us and everyone else who waited in line to leave.
Friday: Souled Out show at Sweet Caroline's. Forgot to take the camera (again), had a great time, actually danced (badly) about 1/2 the time, suffered through mediocre food and crappy service (as usual), caught up with Matt L, got on my sister's last nerve because she wouldn't get up and dance, slept in the next morning and woke up thinking "Matt will have already been up and ran 6 miles by now. Ugh, I'm going back to sleep!"
Saturday: Brenda's Birthday Dance Party!!
Sunday: Recovery morning (smokey environs = Sinus Bleh later), errands, take-home work assignment, dinner with Urban Family at the farmhouse.
