Inspiration

When it comes to trying out new design styles I don't have any experience with for a particular art project I want to do, I actually do research for it (yes, I can be that anal). By reviewing what others have done, I'm able to refine my own ideas AND I usually get some great inspiration for future projects.

My sister asked me a few months ago to design a tattoo cover-up for her (which is coming along nicely, btw). Since my studio work area is buried somewhere in the Construction Zone (aka: bedroom) I had to take over a wall in the living room to hang up all the 'research' . . .

. . . so far I've been inspired to repaint the living room walls.
